The Gilbert Youth Football League (GYFL), established in 2009, is dedicated to prioritizing youth development in sports, ensuring that The Kids Come 1st. Located in Gilbert, Arizona, primarily at Desert Sky Park, GYFL offers a structured NFL Flag program that caters to children aged 4 to 14, with divisions based on age. The league runs three seasons annually: a competitive fall season, a shorter winter league, and a spring session, providing kids with ample opportunities to play, practice, and enhance their skills.
GYFL not only hosts regular games but also organizes championship tournaments at the end of each season and regional competitions for more competitive teams. Emphasizing inclusivity, the league encourages the participation of girls at all levels, helping to create pathways for future athletes. Coaches, often parents, are supported with guidance to foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
GYFL thrives on community involvement and prepares young athletes to thrive in football and life. For more information, visit GYFL’s website or contact them directly
