Gyllenstierna-Weitz Stiftelse

Gyllenstierna-Weitz Foundation is a Swedish charitable foundation established in 2013 in accordance with the will of Mary-Anne Gyllenstierna and Bertil Weitz. The couple, who had no children or heirs, left their estate to create a fund supporting people connected to Öved parish. The foundation’s primary purpose is to provide financial assistance to students and young people from the parish.

Its secondary focus is people who are ill, have disabilities, or otherwise need support. Eligible applicants must be, or have been, registered residents of Öved parish or have attended school there. The foundation invites applications for grants and publishes application forms and information about its support categories on its website.

For 2026, applications are accepted through 31 October, with forms scheduled to be published on 10 October. The foundation’s history reflects the couple’s connection to Öved, where they frequently visited a Gyllenstierna family grave despite never having lived in the parish. At the end of 2024, its assets amounted to SEK 45.
