De Gymnastiekfederatie Vlaanderen is de inspirerende schakel binnen de brede waaier van gymnastiek. Ze begeleidt en ondersteunt de clubs zodat recreanten, competitiegymnasten en topsporters hun sport op een kwalitatieve manier kunnen beoefenen en beleven. De federatie promoot de gymsport en stelt het welzijn en de ontwikkeling van de clubs en hun leden, de vrijwilligers en medewerkers centraal. Ze streeft hierbij naar samenwerking, kwaliteit en een optimaal resultaat.

About Gymfed
Gymfed, the Gymnastics Federation of Flanders, is a regional federation that supports gymnastics clubs and promotes participation in the sport. Bringing together around 318 clubs and more than 121,000 athletes across Flanders, it works with clubs to help recreational participants, competitive gymnasts and elite athletes practise and enjoy gymnastics in a high-quality environment. The federation places the wellbeing and development of clubs, members, volunteers and staff at the centre of its work, with an emphasis on cooperation, quality and positive outcomes.
Gymfed represents a broad range of disciplines, including preschool and recreational gymnastics, adult and senior gymnastics, freerunning, G-Gym, acrobatics, dance and demonstration, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling and rope skipping. It offers support for clubs and their leaders, as well as training and development opportunities for coaches, judges and administrators. Its services include educational resources, digital tools such as the Clubapp and Trainersapp, and guidance on health, safety and ethical sport.
