About Gynca's
Gyncas is a prominent organization in Belgium that focuses on supporting women with gynecological cancer. With over 3000 diagnoses made each year, there is a significant lack of awareness and understanding surrounding these malignant tumors among both patients and the general public. Women often feel isolated and uncertain during diagnosis and treatment, as gynecological cancers are rarely openly discussed or prominently featured in the media.
Gyncas aims to address these challenges by providing assistance to women with gynecological cancer, their loved ones, and healthcare professionals. Their goals are threefold: advocating for the interests of gynecological cancer patients, improving awareness about these cancers to enhance patients' quality of life and survival rates, and facilitating peer support through various activities and events.
