Skånska Gyrokopterklubben

Skånska Gyrokopterklubben is a nonprofit flying club and registered flight school based at Sövde airfield in Skåne, Sweden. It provides training and flying opportunities for people interested in gyroplanes, ultralight fixed-wing aircraft and trikes. The school offers theoretical and practical instruction for ultralight pilot certificates, including UL-B for fixed-wing aircraft and UL-G for gyroplanes; it is also preparing to organise UL-A training. Experienced instructors support students through their training, while the club’s active community brings together more than 60 members, pilots and aviation enthusiasts from southern Sweden.

For newcomers, the club offers introductory flights and gift certificates, giving visitors a chance to experience flying before deciding whether to pursue a licence. Members can take part in recreational flying at cost, with access to modern, series-produced and fully insured aircraft. The club flies and trains throughout the year, with safety as a priority. Located within a short drive of Lund and Malmö, Skånska Gyrokopterklubben combines pilot education, hands-on flying experiences and a community-centred approach to light aviation.
