The English Section was founded in 1991 on the basis of an agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Republic and the United Kingdom, creating a solid, state-funded grammar school with over 25 years of tradition and no tuition fees. The school offers a six-year bilingual program for students from the 7th year of elementary school or 2nd year of grammar school, emphasizing English language classes in the 1st and 2nd years, with an increased level of 8 hours per week. From the 3rd year, subjects like Mathematics, Physics, History, Geography, Biology, and Chemistry are taught in English.

In addition to English, students can choose from a range of seminars in Czech and English and opt for a second foreign language (German, Spanish, French, Russian) from the 1st year. With a curriculum combining elements of the Czech and British education systems, graduates achieve almost 100% success in the admission process at prestigious Czech and international universities, leading to excellent international career prospects.
