The Gesellschaft zum Schutz der Wölfe e.V. (GzSdW) is a recognized environmental and nature conservation association dedicated to protecting wolves in Germany and throughout Europe. Founded to address the challenges posed by the return of wolves to their natural habitats after centuries of persecution, the GzSdW promotes conflict-free coexistence between humans and wolves. The organization provides educational materials for teachers and interested individuals to dispel myths surrounding wolves and highlight their ecological importance.

Members can contribute through donations, memberships, or partnerships, helping fund initiatives and awareness campaigns. The GzSdW offers various programs, including exhibitions, newsletters with the latest wolf-related news, and even educational films like "Rotkäppchen Reloaded," which provides insights about wolves tailored for children. By actively engaging the community and providing valuable resources, the GzSdW plays a crucial role in fostering understanding and support for wildlife conservation efforts, especially regarding the resurgence of wolves in modern ecosystems.
