Geflügelzuchtverein Bad Aibling u. Umgebung e.V. is a regional club founded in 1901 to support the breeding and preservation of poultry and pigeon breeds in and around Bad Aibling and Rosenheim. The association brings together members, breeders and other enthusiasts through its events, information resources and regular social gatherings. Its activities include showcasing breeds, recognizing quality through awards and promoting animal welfare.
A key event is the Oberbayerische Bezirksschau, held in 2026 as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition is scheduled for 7 and 8 November at the Bad Aibling exhibition hall, with animal intake on 5 November and judging on 6 November. The club also provides event schedules, a photo gallery, contacts for its board, downloads such as exhibition rules and entry forms, and a marketplace. Members and visitors are welcome at the monthly club gathering, held on the last Sunday of each month at 10 a.m. at Gasthaus Oberberger in Langenpfunzen.
