About H2CanFly
H2CanFly is a pioneering pan-Canadian initiative dedicated to transforming sustainable aviation technologies for both commercial and defense applications. Aiming to position Canada as a global leader in hydrogen aviation, H2CanFly focuses on promoting innovation, economic growth, and environmental stewardship. The organization seeks to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen propulsion aircraft, striving for a net-zero future by 2050.
Backed by eight strategic partners and a global network, H2CanFly collaborates with industry, academia, and government stakeholders to execute a comprehensive strategy that addresses critical environmental and economic challenges. Their ambitious plan entails launching a multi-phase technical program to advance hydrogen and electric propulsion technologies, as well as expanding hydrogen refueling infrastructure through the development of Airport Energy Hubs.
