Haat Fishing is a fishing equipment brand known for premium custom rods designed by world-record-holding angler Eric Haataja. Its ice rods are developed through extensive testing, with an emphasis on quality components, sensitivity, power, and performance in demanding conditions. Designed in the USA, the rods feature ice-fishing-focused details such as thicker cork grips, custom reel seats, machined stainless-steel guides, larger guide openings to help reduce ice buildup, and durable epoxy wrapping.
The brand offers spinning, casting, and jigging ice rods in a range of lengths and power ratings, including heavy and extra-heavy models built to handle strong fish such as trout, salmon, and pike. Its broader lineup also includes open-water spinning rods, a Mystery Tube hook-setting device, and fishing lures such as lead and tungsten jigging spoons, tungsten jig heads, and UV lure tape. Haat Fishing also sells apparel and gift cards.
