HABBY TALTERAPI

Habby is a small speech therapy practice serving Western Uusimaa, Finland, from Espoo to Hanko. It provides therapy primarily in Swedish, with Finnish services available when the client’s needs and circumstances allow. Habby is a Kela (FPA) service provider for speech therapy in the region. Its services include traditional in-person therapy, animal-assisted speech therapy and remote sessions, with therapy held in the client’s everyday surroundings where possible.

The practice aims to prevent, reduce and address communication and interaction difficulties while supporting clients’ communication and functional abilities in daily life. Treatment is tailored to each person and their circumstances, combining methods to find an engaging and suitable approach. Habby primarily works with children and young people, and also accepts adults. Areas of interest include language disorders, autism spectrum conditions, Down syndrome and feeding difficulties.

Animal-assisted sessions may involve therapy dogs Yeti and Maui, or, in some cases, the horse Pisang at a stable.
