About Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico is an organization dedicated to building homes, communities, and hope. With a mission to provide affordable housing and training programs, Habitat for Humanity helps individuals and families achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and a better future. Through their affordable housing programs and rehabilitation efforts, the organization has made a significant impact, completing over 359 repairs and engaging in construction and rehabilitation projects.
They have also amassed over 618 hours of volunteer work, benefiting various municipalities such as Guayama, Santa Isabel, San Juan, Carolina, Yabucoa, Loíza, Adjuntas, Arroyo, Patillas, Utuado, and Jayuya.
