About Hacienda Las Cuevas
Hacienda Las Cuevas Terra Lodge in Quito offers a unique and captivating adventure. Experience the fascinating history and myths as you stay within a cave, with all the comforts you need. Indulge in fine gastronomy, relaxation, and outdoor activities amidst the Andean nature.
To provide exclusivity to our guests, we only accept reservations for both accommodations and the restaurant. Hacienda Las Cuevas Terra Lodge shares a rich history and tradition, sculpted by Álvaro Bustamante in the mid-20th century. We offer luxurious and spacious rooms, including family rooms with independent porches and lake views.
Our activities and tours include hikes through hacienda trails, horseback riding, cheese and wine tastings, beer and chocolate tastings, candle making with stones, cheese making (seasonal), rose plantation visits, and marshmallow campfires. Located just 20 minutes from the International Airport and 30 minutes from Quito, we are also close to iconic landmarks such as the Cayambe-Coca Reserve, Antisana Reserve, Cotopaxi Volcano, Historic Center of Quito, Middle of the World, and Cumbayá Park. Don't forget to bring warm clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, windbreakers, hats, and swimwear.
