Welcome to Hack Cyprus, the pioneers of hackathons in Cyprus! For the past four years, we have been educating and inspiring individuals about the power of hackathons. What started as a mission to define the term "hackathon" in Cyprus has transformed into the most highly anticipated weekend of hacking on hardware, mobile, and the web.

In our journey, we have achieved significant milestones. In September 2013, we held our very first hackathon, marking the beginning of a remarkable tech revolution. Since then, we have hosted a series of successful events, including the Summer Edition in June 2014 and the Bigger, Better hackathon in June 2015. In 2016, we celebrated half a decade of coding excellence. The momentum continued with the Hack Cyprus summit in November 2017, followed by our incredible comeback in July 2019.

Hack Cyprus was created by CEL with a vision to put Cyprus on the technology map. We firmly believe that Cyprus has the potential to attract and nurture world-class technologists. Our ultimate goal is to establish Cyprus as a prominent startup hub in Europe and the world.
