About HACKMED
HACKMED is a Colombian Rock band formed in 2010, known for their unique concept of hacker meditation. The group consists of vocalist Laura Steffens (also known as Luisa Steffens) and guitarist Snake (Andres Muñoz). HACKMED combines the talents of an independent producer and musician, Snake, with professional singer Mumu, born out of the tragic death of Snake's brother and the sexual abuse endured by Luisa.
With their distinctive style and powerful lyrics, HACKMED has gained recognition and accolades. They were nominated for Best Alternative Artist and Influencer of the Year at the Online 2019 Awards. Their music video Despertar was chosen as one of the best videos of the year at the Bogotá Music Festival 2017.
Their album Control Virtual achieved second place in the final of Viva 2017 and was featured in the exclusive compilation of Head Bangers Latinoamérica.
