HackSpain is a community-led event organized by Asociación Exponential Fellowship, bringing young builders together to learn, collaborate and create. Its 2026 edition took place from September 18 to 20 at the ETSIT campus of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. The event brought together 250 participants for a 36-hour hackathon, with five tracks offering different areas of focus for projects. Participants could also connect with mentors and fellow builders, share ideas and develop their work in a collaborative setting.

HackSpain combines hands-on building with a strong emphasis on community. Its website highlights participant stories and reflections from the event, celebrating what attendees created and experienced together. The 2026 edition also offered more than €10,000 in prizes, recognizing projects developed during the hackathon. Through its events, tracks, mentoring and community activities, HackSpain provides a space for young people interested in building and innovation to meet, work on ideas and learn from one another. The initiative is part of Exponential Fellowship, an association based in Madrid.
