About Hackuarium
Hackuarium is an open laboratory that aims to demystify, inspire, and innovate in the field of DIY biology and beyond. At Hackuarium, we believe in bringing biology and biologists to the world while bringing the real world back into biology. Our laboratory provides a neutral, open, and noncompetitive environment where individuals can meet, discuss, build, and develop ideas.
We are proud to be a not-for-profit organization that fosters collaboration and creativity. Our projects reflect our values and include AGiR!, BeeMoS, BeerDeCoded, Biodesign Living Instruments, Octanis Spectrophotometer, Pr(ink)t, Plastic Spectro-Pointer, and more. In addition to these projects, we also offer events, a newsletter, and a wiki for further exploration and knowledge sharing.
Hackuarium also believes in repurposing and upcycling lab equipment to reduce waste and promote sustainability. As a proud member of the Space Alliance Cooperative, we are committed to driving innovation and exploration.
