The Hadfy Foundation, formally known as the Dr. med. Leslie Bela Hadfy Foundation, is a charitable foundation established in 2001 and registered in Switzerland.
Its purpose is to support students through annual scholarships in music and medicine. At the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Music (HSLU), the foundation awards one scholarship each year to a talented student specializing in classical music and another to a talented jazz student. It also provides two annual scholarships to international students who are not U.
S. citizens and are enrolled at the UC Davis School of Medicine in Davis, California. Each medical scholarship enables its recipient to study there for one year.
The foundation’s work focuses on helping promising students pursue their education in these fields, with awards directed to specific institutions and study areas. Its website provides information about the foundation, applications, scholarship recipients, and contact details. Through this targeted program, the Hadfy Foundation supports musical talent in Switzerland and offers international medical students an opportunity for a year of study at UC Davis
