Hafnia HEMA

Hafnia HEMA is a Copenhagen-based club dedicated to Historical European Martial Arts, with a particular focus on longsword fencing. Founded and run by experienced, passionate fencers, it combines historical study with practical training and welcomes people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, races, and religions. HEMA explores European fighting systems through historical sources, including fencing treatises that describe techniques, while bringing those methods to life as a modern combat sport.

The club offers technical training and sparring, and invites newcomers to try a session for free. Members can take part for enjoyment, develop their skills, or pursue competition at national and international levels.
