Staff can access the system from computers, smartphones, and tablets, with no stated limit on the number of devices.

Its features include participant attendance and activity records, transport and meal tracking, support notes and plans, assessments, monitoring records, and related document creation. The system also supports group-home management, staff shift scheduling, attendance calculations, wage and allowance calculations, and automatic monthly summaries. Information entered into the system is linked across records, helping reduce duplicate work and support accurate documentation for inspections.

Hagupass offers a monthly subscription, with additional plans and options available. Depending on the plan, services include billing support for claims to Japan’s National Health Insurance Federation, assistance with claim documents and corrections, and advance payment of benefit fees through GLUG. Optional services include participant data registration during migration from other software.
