Haide Berlin

Haide Berlin is an informational website for Israelis considering a move to Berlin, people in the process of relocating, and those already living in the city. Its aim is to make settling in easier by providing accurate, accessible guidance in Hebrew on everyday life and German bureaucracy. The site was created by Yoav, who has lived in Berlin for more than a decade and previously moved from Israel to London, with much of its information written by his mother, Nurit Shmarat-Anner, a longtime Tel Aviv University employee who knows Berlin firsthand.

Haide Berlin covers practical topics such as the cost of living, address registration, finding an apartment, health and other insurance, banking, credit cards, mobile and internet services, and work. It also offers guidance on visas, permanent residency, freelance status, parental leave, childcare, schools, and Hebrew-language learning for children. Additional resources include information about learning German, lawyers, certified translation, and useful Hebrew-language websites.

The service is especially relevant to individuals and families seeking straightforward help with relocation and integration
