Haiku BOX is an online community and submission site designed to make haiku enjoyable for beginners and experienced poets alike. Visitors can freely submit poems and explore work shared by other contributors, with options to search by poem, pen name, or seasonal word. The site also encourages interaction through comments from AI haiku poets, including AI Basho and AI Issa, as well as monthly rankings and themed submission contests.

Members can take part in “Photo Haiku,” writing poems inspired by images, or join collaborative linked-verse activities in which participants connect their lines. Guidance for newcomers includes tips on composing and submitting haiku, while seasonal-word searches and collections of classical haiku offer ways to discover and study the form. The site features monthly contest results, recommended seasonal words, and archives of submissions.

It also provides inspiration through searchable mood and scene tags, covering topics such as seasons, weather, landscapes, daily life, and nature. Haiku BOX brings poetry sharing, discovery, and creative participation together in one accessible online space
