Baskètbòl pou Ankadre Lajenès (BAL), also known as Basketball to Uplift the Youth, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using basketball as a powerful tool to educate and mentor Haitian youth. Guided by the core values of Discipline, Solidarity, and Excellence, BAL offers a comprehensive program that consists of two components: Basketball and Education. Through these components, BAL aims to teach fundamental basketball skills, promote teamwork and responsibility, and encourage social and cultural development.

BAL operates in two underserved neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince, Cité Soleil and Martissant, where the need for youth guidance and mentorship is particularly crucial. With Haiti's young population and socio-economic challenges, BAL recognizes the importance of providing positive alternatives to risky behavior and promoting healthy lifestyles. By utilizing basketball as a means to engage and inspire the youth, BAL fosters leadership skills, self-esteem, and visionary goal-setting.
