Haki na Sheria is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities and promoting the rights of Northern Kenya. Based in Garissa, Kenya, Haki na Sheria, also known as the HSI Initiative, has been making a significant impact for over a decade. Their mission is to empower marginalized communities to understand, demand, and claim their human rights in pursuit of an equitable society.

Their vision is to create a Kenya where all marginalized communities live dignified lives, free from human rights violations. Haki na Sheria focuses on various key areas, including promoting the participation of marginalized communities in governance, reducing human rights violations in the Garissa Region, addressing statelessness issues by assisting individuals in obtaining essential government documents, advocating for environmental justice and protecting the environment, and tackling challenges that negatively impact women's lives, such as lack of access to justice, education, and employment. Founded in 2010 by Kenyan Somali law students, Haki na Sheria seized the opportunity to raise awareness and organize during a crucial time for their communities.
