Halcyon True North

Halcyon True North is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on helping young people overcome barriers to higher education and build purposeful futures. Guided by the belief that talent is universal but opportunity is not, the organization supports students with more than financial assistance. Its programs offer mentorship, encouragement, practical guidance, and educational resources to help young people navigate college and envision possibilities that may once have felt out of reach.

Halcyon True North provides scholarships and student support, along with a scholarship guide, mentorship opportunities, and student spotlights that share participants’ journeys. The organization also engages its community through the Unity Run, book drives, membership, and opportunities to volunteer or donate. Its work aims to strengthen students’ confidence and independence while supporting families facing significant challenges. Inspired by the symbol of calm after a storm, Halcyon True North helps students find direction and pursue lasting opportunity. Its core values are respect, commitment, and integrity, and its broader goal is to help ensure that a student’s starting point does not determine how far they can go.
