Halloween Ribe

Halloween Ribe is a local event organizer in Ribe, Denmark, creating seasonal experiences for families and the wider community. Its 2026 project, Lys i Mørket (“Light in the Dark”), reimagines the atmosphere of its Halloween events as a free, artistic evening walk. Held on weekends throughout October at Koldingvej 115 in Ribe, the event features creative light installations and a carefully designed route through the darkness. Rather than jump scares, loud frights, or horror effects, it offers a calm, immersive experience intended for visitors of all ages. The project draws inspiration from Halloween Ribe’s earlier events while expressing their themes through light and art.

Halloween Ribe also invites volunteers to help bring the event to life, offering a chance to contribute to the experience and join its community. Local businesses, foundations, and individuals can support the project through financial contributions, materials, equipment, or services. The organization reports that its 2025 event welcomed 2,800 visitors and thanks the volunteers, sponsors, and attendees who made it possible.
