About Halo Igloos
Halo Igloos is a premium hospitality brand offering glass-igloo stays and Arctic experiences in Finnish Lapland. Its Rovaniemi resorts invite guests to enjoy the region’s forests, river landscapes and night skies, with glass ceilings designed for aurora viewing. Halo Hillside, 18 minutes from Rovaniemi, has 26 private igloos, each with a sauna and hot tub, plus a restaurant and reindeer enclosure. Nearby Halo Riverside offers river-view and forest-view igloos, an on-site restaurant, panoramic sky deck and sauna complex. A third destination, Halo Arctic Island in Hailuoto, is planned to open in summer 2027 with cabins, a restaurant and outdoor saunas.
Guests can book activities including the Halo Sky Odyssey, an astronomy-led evening exploring the Northern Lights and other celestial sights, as well as guided husky rides and reindeer farm visits with sleigh rides. Riverside also offers private sauna and cold-plunge sessions for couples. Halo Igloos presents its stays and activities as a way to experience Arctic nature in comfort, with options for couples, solo travellers and families.
