Hamania is a birth and postpartum support service founded by Ismay Heijerman in 2022 and based in The Hague, with services available across South Holland. Its name means “sunflower” in Hebrew, reflecting values the brand associates with warmth, love, positivity, trust, strength, calm, connection and harmony.

Hamania offers personalised doula support for people and families before, during and after birth. The service is shaped around each client’s wishes and needs, with the aim of helping them approach birth and the postpartum period feeling confident and well informed. Hamania emphasises continuous, attentive support throughout this important transition to parenthood.

The business also provides massage and treatments in the familiar setting of a client’s home, offering time and attention focused on their wellbeing.
