Hamar Sanitetsforening

Hamar Sanitetsforening is a local branch of Norske Kvinners Sanitetsforening (N. K. S.

), Norway’s nationwide women’s organization, founded in 1896. N. K.

S. is politically independent and open to people regardless of faith or belief. Its mission is to help build a safe and inclusive society through voluntary work in health and social services, with a particular focus on women’s health and living conditions.

The organization also supports a secure and inclusive childhood and stronger local communities. Across Norway, N. K.
