Hamburg EMS

Hamburg Emergency Medical Services (Hamburg EMS) is a nonprofit ambulance service providing pre-hospital emergency care across Northern Berks County, Southern Schuylkill County, and surrounding communities in Pennsylvania. Available around the clock throughout the year, its trained team responds to medical emergencies, trauma incidents, accidents, and public safety needs. Hamburg EMS serves Albany, Greenwich, Perry, Tilden, Upper Bern, Upper Tulpehocken, and Windsor townships, as well as Hamburg and Port Clinton boroughs and areas beyond. Its emergency care aims to stabilize patients at the scene and transport them to hospital safely and promptly.

Services include emergency medical response, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, wheelchair transportation, non-emergency medical transportation, and event standby coverage. The organization also offers annual service subscriptions and membership options, and provides information and billing support for patients. As a nonprofit, Hamburg EMS relies on service payments, community donations, and grants to meet its expenses and sustain local care. Residents and municipalities can support its work through donations or an annual subscription plan.
