Hameau Albert 1er is a five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel near the centre of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, set in a one-hectare garden beneath the surrounding mountain peaks. Shaped by five generations of the Carrier family, whose roots in Chamonix span centuries, the property has welcomed guests since 1903 and brings together attentive hospitality and a strong connection to its Alpine setting.

Accommodation includes individually styled rooms and suites, characterful farmhouse lodgings and spacious, independent wooden chalets. Guests can dine at the Michelin-starred Table Albert 1er, known for inventive cuisine, or enjoy traditional mountain-inspired dishes at Maison Carrier. QuartzBar serves cocktails, wines, liqueurs and light savoury or sweet plates, with live music at selected times.

The Bachal spa and pool offers indoor and outdoor swimming, a jacuzzi, a hammam, massages and personalised treatments. For business meetings and events, the independent Fenil venue provides 90 square metres of flexible space opening onto the gardens. The hotel also highlights local art and environmental responsibility, and its team can help guests explore the Chamonix Valley.
