Hämeenlinnan Sukeltajat

Hämeenlinnan Sukeltajat ry is a diving club founded in 2010 through the merger of Hämeenlinnan Urheilusukeltajat and Ahveniston Vesipedot. Based in Hämeenlinna, Finland, the club brings together people interested in underwater sports, training and shared activities. It offers instruction and opportunities for beginners and experienced participants, including scuba try-outs, basic and advanced scuba courses, dry-suit and nitrox training, and specialist courses.

Members can also explore freediving, junior activities, underwater rugby and tail swimming, with introductory sessions and courses available in some disciplines. The club organizes pool training and events such as night dives at Lake Ahvenisto, as well as social gatherings and seasonal meetings. For underwater rugby, it invites newcomers to open trial sessions and provides equipment to borrow when needed.

Tail-swimming introductions let participants try monofins alongside a short theory session and pool practice. The club shares schedules, course information, event announcements and member resources through its website and forum, helping people find activities, learn new skills and connect with the local diving community
