Hamills Fly Store

Hamills Fly Store is a Tauranga-based online retailer serving anglers with equipment and supplies for freshwater and saltwater fly fishing. The store describes itself as Tauranga’s premier fly fishing store and offers a broad selection for fishing, travel, and fly tying. Its range includes fly rods, reels, lines, rod-and-reel combos, waders, boots, vests, landing nets, fly boxes, and fishing accessories.

Anglers can browse freshwater, saltwater, and Euro nymphing gear, including specialist rods, reels, lines, leaders, tippet, hooks, and flies. The fly selection covers nymphs, tungsten-bead patterns, dries, streamers, saltwater flies, and egg patterns. For fly tying, Hamills stocks vises, tools, threads, beads, feathers, furs, synthetic materials, resins, and other components, including saltwater-specific supplies.

The store also carries items such as indicators, line cleaners, forceps, nippers, tippet rings, and wader-repair products. Hamills says it regularly adds products and invites customers to get in touch by email or chat if they cannot find an item, so the team can try to source it
