Handart is a small equestrian workshop in the Allgäu region, creating handmade equipment for horses. Its range includes cavessons, training halters, bit straps, lunge lines, double longe lines, reins and replacement padding sets. The brand also offers custom-made items, with individual sizing and color preferences available, and states that all sizes can be supplied.
Handart’s products are made from original BioThane®, a material described as durable, easy to care for and water-resistant. It is also resistant to mold, remains flexible in low temperatures and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The material is presented as soft and skin-friendly, designed not to chafe, and able to absorb pressure and impact. It is treated to be antibacterial, is free from harmful substances, and can be washed at up to 30°C without spinning or tumble drying. A wide selection of colors is available. Customers can contact Handart to discuss custom requests or product availability, and the website provides an information brochure and direct ordering options.
