About NGO Hand in Hand
Hand in Hand is dedicated to supporting the independent living of people with disabilities and promoting community integration. Our mission is focused on deinstitutionalizing individuals and providing them with the necessary tools and services to thrive in a community setting. Through our various programs such as Community Living, Personal Assistance, Training Professionals, and Empowering Parents, we aim to empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
At Hand in Hand, we believe in advocacy and have successfully transitioned over 30 individuals from large institutions to community-based housing, where they receive the support they need for personal development and independent living. Our track record of nine years showcases our commitment to disability policy making, program development, and person-centered planning.
