Handisables International est une association qui a pour vocation d’aider des enfants handicapés au Sénégal, dans leur accès aux soins médicaux, paramédicaux, à l’éducation et à des perspectives professionnelles. Les activités d’Handisables ont débuté en 1984. Association loi de 1901 d’origine picarde dont les statuts ont été déposés le 30 mai 1989, elle reste fidèle à sa région en s’enrichissant de membres qui viennent des quatre coins de la France et des DOM-TOM. Nos Actions Partir en mission Nous Aider Notre structure sénégalaise, le centre de rééducation fonctionnel (CRF), est installée dans la région de THIES, en pleine brousse sénégalaise, à NDIAGANIAO dans le département de MBOUR. A 130 kms de Dakar, la capitale, Ndiaganiao est le chef lieu de la communauté rurale regroupant 37 villages sur une superficie de 375 km² et compte près de 35 000 habitants. Notre établissement est composé de deux bâtiments contigus : le Centre de Rééducation Fonctionnelle Infantile (CRF) et l’internat, qui reçoit des enfants handicapés moteurs susceptibles d’être scolarisés au village. Afin d’aller au plus près des enfants handicapés, nous nous déplaçons également en consultation dans d’autres départements et d’autres régions.

Handisables International is a French humanitarian association supporting children with disabilities in Senegal. Its work began in 1984, and the association’s statutes were registered in 1989. Rooted in Picardy and supported by members from across France and its overseas territories, Handisables aims to improve children’s access to medical and paramedical care, education, and future employment opportunities.
The association operates a Functional Rehabilitation Centre in Ndiaganiao, in Senegal’s Thiès region. The centre includes a facility for children’s rehabilitation and a boarding house for children with motor disabilities who may attend school in the village. To reach more children, the team also conducts consultations in other departments and regions. Its activities include rehabilitation, assistive equipment, residential support, and development projects. Handisables also invites people to take part in missions and supports its work through donations and child sponsorships. Through these services and forms of support, the association works to bring care and educational opportunities closer to children and their communities.
