Hands Producing Hope is a brand that was born out of a desire to make a difference in the lives of marginalized communities. It all started in 2010, when the founder, Rebecca, lived in Costa Rica and learned about the discrimination and hardships faced by the Guaymi, a native people group. Inspired by their story, Rebecca visited the Coppey Abajo reservation and began envisioning her role in this community.

Recognizing the passion and creativity of the women in the face of oppression and extreme poverty, Rebecca saw an opportunity to provide them with a market. In 2012, Hands Producing Hope officially launched, selling jewelry from the reservation through trunk shows, craft fairs, and church events. Since then, Hands Producing Hope has expanded its reach and impact.

The brand now works with artisans in Rwanda, providing them with access to a market for their exquisite home goods. In addition, they have started working with local refugee women in Baton Rouge, teaching them new artisan skills and providing them with supplemental income. But Hands Producing Hope's commitment goes beyond just providing a steady income.

They prioritize education and physical, mental, and emotional wellness for their artisans. Through workshops and educational initiatives, they support artisans who wish to attend school and teach valuable life skills. By purchasing products from Hands Producing Hope, you are not only getting beautifully crafted items but also directly contributing to the empowerment and upliftment of marginalized communities.
