Hanif RBP

Hanif RBP provides professional advice, training, speaking engagements, workshops and certification to help organisations and practitioners support women experiencing violence. Led by Bushra Hanif, the practice is grounded in Response-Based Practice (RBP), an approach informed by research, practical experience and connection to the international RBP community. Its work addresses violence against women and coercive control, while recognising how women respond, protect themselves and resist. The emphasis is on dignity, agency and the role that social and professional responses can play in supporting or harming those affected.

Hanif RBP helps organisations translate these principles into practical tools, conversations and everyday procedures. Services are tailored to each organisation’s needs and may include consultation, implementation support, professional training, supervision, development of workflows and interim consultancy. Workshops offer interactive opportunities to learn and apply the approach, while talks explore RBP, coercive control and related research. Through this combination of specialist knowledge and practical guidance, Hanif RBP aims to strengthen professional practice and create support that promotes safety, respect and women’s agency.
