Hannah Mulvaney is a product manager whose work focuses on making advanced technology safer and more useful. She is currently on OpenAI’s Safety Systems team, where she works on safety measurement, model policy, and products designed for people who need safeguards most. Her goal is to help ensure that AI capabilities advance alongside effective protections.

Previously, Mulvaney was a founding product manager at Fluidstack, building the software layer for large-scale AI infrastructure. At Microsoft, she led cross-functional product work in Azure Core and contributed to silicon and cloud hardware through product engineering, manufacturing, and test engineering roles. Her experience spans product development, engineering, infrastructure, and collaboration across technical teams.

Mulvaney earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in technology entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland. Outside her technology work, she has coached fitness clients as a certified personal trainer and supports mentoring for women and minorities in engineering, as well as environmental and international engineering initiatives.
