Hanna's Garden Shop

Hanna’s Garden Shop is a family-owned garden center on Highway 280 in Birmingham, Alabama. Founded in 1986 by horticulturist and landscaper C. Beaty Hanna, the business has been run by his nephew Steve and, since 2013, by Steve’s son Andy. Its four-acre property at the foot of Double Oak Mountain includes 19 growing areas and 47 departments, offering a broad selection for home gardeners and landscaping projects.

Customers can shop online or in person for trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, houseplants, conifers, roses, grasses, vines, palms, sod, and other plants, as well as pottery and garden-shop goods. The nursery highlights seasonal arrivals and carries varieties such as Japanese maples, camellias, hydrangeas, and native trees. Hanna’s also provides expert plant advice, garden classes, free store pickup, and local delivery. Trees and shrubs are covered by a six-month promise.
