Hanrine Foundation

Hanrine Foundation is a charitable foundation established in 2015 to support stronger futures across the Pilbara and other regions where Hancock Prospecting operates. It works with leading organisations and local stakeholders to back practical, long-term initiatives, with a particular focus on Traditional Owners and regional Australians. Its mission is to empower communities by investing in programs that improve individual wellbeing and regional outcomes.

The Foundation focuses on three connected areas: health, education, and arts and culture. Its health initiatives support accessible solutions designed for regional and remote communities, including Hanrine Smiles, Rare Care, Pilbara Hub, Strong Hearts on Ngurra, and Sandcastles (Boodja Mia). In education, Hanrine Futures and St Cecilia’s Scholarships provide student support and school-based opportunities to help young people thrive and pursue their chosen careers. Its arts and culture programs encourage creativity, cultural identity, participation, and pathways into the arts, with initiatives including Scribblers on the Road and Desert Wave Records.
