About hansfritzfamily.com
Fritz/Fritts Family History is a dedicated platform capturing the rich heritage and journey of the Fritz/Fritts family in America. Originating from Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the family's story began with Hans Ulrich Fritz and his son Wooldrich, who arrived in Philadelphia in 1738 aboard the ship Elizabeth. They settled in Shenandoah County, Virginia, where Wooldrich married and raised a family, later moving to Lexington, North Carolina.
The family's notable contributions include serving in the American Revolutionary War, with Wooldrich and two of his sons as soldiers. The site offers resources for those interested in genealogy, including surname searches, family records, and historical details about their ancestors. Visitors can explore cemeteries, media, and documents detailing the family's past, emphasizing connections to notable figures and events.
Led by Dennis C. Allen, a passionate genealogist, the platform aims to assist others in tracing their lineage and honoring their ancestors, fostering a sense of community and shared history
