Hanson Riding Club is a community organization dedicated to encouraging interest in horses and supporting riding, equine education, and related activities. Its programs welcome riders, handlers, and families from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, with opportunities to take part in shows, trail rides, clinics, and club events.
The club holds open shows at Briggs Stable in Hanover and Balmy Acres in Middleboro, Massachusetts. Classes include flat, trail, in-hand, and driving events across a variety of disciplines, with year-end awards for division leaders. Members can also join organized trail rides, including a benefit beach ride, and versatility events featuring obstacles and ranch classes. Throughout the year, Hanson Riding Club arranges clinics with trainers and judges.
Additional programs recognize members’ involvement through Ambassador points for eligible public horse events and Milestone points for organized trail-ride mileage. The club presents awards at an annual banquet and offers scholarships to qualifying candidates. Membership forms, event entry forms, a calendar, and club documents are available through its website.
