HAPnet

HAPnet, or Hachioji Animal Protection Network, is a voluntary organization based in Hachioji dedicated to animal welfare and addressing local environmental issues. Comprised of individuals and groups passionate about animal rights, HAPnet facilitates regular adoption events in collaboration with the Hachioji City Health Center, providing support for those involved in animal rescue and rehoming initiatives.

The organization not only connects rescued animals with new families but also actively engages in public awareness campaigns that highlight the importance of life and coexistence with animals. HAPnet encourages the participation of new members who are willing to assist in adoption activities, educational events, and by temporarily fostering rescued animals until they find permanent homes.

By promoting animal welfare and tackling local challenges such as stray cat populations, HAPnet aims to foster a compassionate community that prioritizes the wellbeing of animals and support for local environmental concerns.
