HBChanceHorseRescue is a non-profit organization that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses in need. Founded by Linda Nemec, whose special-needs child inspired her to create this organization, its mission is to provide a second chance for horses that have been abandoned, neglected, or abused. Since its establishment in 2014, HBChanceHorseRescue has successfully rescued over 125 horses, regardless of age, breed, or health condition.

Through their dedicated team of volunteers, they assess each horse's health, attitude, and training levels, providing them with the necessary care and attention they need to recover. The rescue typically spends at least a year with each horse, addressing any medical and behavioral issues. The organization also aims to educate the public about responsible horse ownership.

They offer opportunities for individuals to learn about horse care, nutrition, and wound treatment. By promoting awareness and understanding of horses' needs, HBChanceHorseRescue hopes to prevent future cases of mistreatment or neglect. When a horse is ready, they are either rehomed as trail horses, companion animals, or therapy animals or placed in retirement homes.

HBChanceHorseRescue maintains contact with adoptive owners to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of the horses. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, HBChanceHorseRescue relies on the generous donations and support of individuals and organizations. All donations are tax deductible, and every contribution plays a crucial role in giving these beautiful creatures a second chance at life
