Happy Hiccups Equestrian

Happy Hiccups Equestrian LLC provides horseback riding lessons and equestrian training in Central Maryland, with its program hosted at Rancho La Fortuna. The business takes a personalized approach, creating an individual plan for each rider to support their goals and development. Under the guidance of Coach Maddie, students build the practical skills and confidence to handle, care for, and ride horses safely and independently. Instruction combines hands-on experience with theory, helping riders progress from hesitant beginners toward greater capability and independence without requiring them to own a horse.

For young children, the Tiny Tots program offers riding experiences for ages six and under. Children spend one-on-one time with small ponies and enjoy horse-related activities at a gentle pace, with the instructor providing guidance throughout. Happy Hiccups also invites prospective riders and families to visit the farm, tour the barn, meet the horses, and learn how to get started. Its listed offerings include horseback riding lessons, summer camp, a working student program, and Practical Horseman classes.
