The Secular Rabbinate of Israel provides Jewish ceremonies for people and families seeking an approach that reflects secular values while maintaining a connection to Jewish culture and tradition. Its stated aim is to affirm the meaning of secular Jewish life and help people shape ceremonies around their beliefs, family stories, and personal values.

Services include secular and Reform wedding ceremonies, bar and bat mitzvahs, birth and naming celebrations, brit or brita ceremonies, and memorial and mourning rituals. The organization says ceremonies are developed through conversations between the officiant and participants, allowing each event to reflect the people involved. Couples can seek an officiant suited to their preferences, including options described as secular, Reform, Conservative, or religious.

The website also offers articles and research on Jewish culture, holidays, life-cycle traditions, and religion and state in Israel, alongside testimonials and practical information. It notes that secular, Reform, and Conservative marriages performed in Israel are not currently recognized by the Israeli state as marriages; couples may need to consider separate legal arrangements.
