Harads Arctic Heat AB is a Swedish producer of metallurgical biocarbon, operating an industrial production site in northern Sweden since 2008. The company makes biocarbon engineered to perform like coke, offering heavy industry an alternative to fossil coal and coke without requiring changes to existing equipment or production processes. Its product is intended for use in steelmaking, ferroalloy production and other metallurgical applications where carbon remains essential. By substituting biocarbon for fossil carbon, industrial producers can reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining established processes.
Harads Arctic Heat works across the production chain, from forestry and logistics through pyrolysis to product delivery. The company also provides services in transport, deforestation, district heating and groundworks. It invites industrial customers to test biocarbon in their processes, discuss industrial-scale volumes, and explore research and development collaborations. Through its production and industry-focused partnerships, Harads Arctic Heat aims to change the source of carbon used in heavy industry and support the transition away from fossil-based materials.
