The Harald Huppert Stiftung is a charitable and benevolent foundation established in 2008 and based in Marburg, Germany. Founded through the bequest of engineer Harald Huppert, it supports education, scientific research, assistance for people in need, and animal welfare. Its central focus is helping young people pursue academic and vocational education, particularly in technical fields. The foundation provides scholarships for study at technical universities and supports professional development. In some cases, it may pay part or all of a recipient’s remaining BAföG student loan after studies are completed.
The foundation also funds research into diseases of the blood-forming and lymphatic systems, especially malignant lymphomas. It can help cover treatment costs for people experiencing financial hardship who have these conditions. Its animal welfare work includes supporting veterinary care for animals in shelters and enabling clinical treatment for pets whose owners cannot afford necessary care. The foundation’s grants are available for these defined purposes, with application guidance provided through its funding policies.
