Haras d'Youville

Haras d’Youville is an equestrian and breeding centre in Médréac, Ille-et-Vilaine, north of Rennes. Set on a calm, 40-hectare estate between the Rennes–Saint-Brieuc and Rennes–Saint-Malo routes, it welcomes breeders and riders in a friendly environment focused on horse welfare. The team provides services spanning breeding, reproduction, boarding and horse development, supported by modern, functional facilities.

Its reproduction centre offers insemination, including IAR and IAC, recipient mare rental, boarding for mares, foaling and weaning. Breeding services include foaling and weaning, boarding for young horses aged zero to three and broodmares, breeding competitions, and breaking in young horses. The owners’ stable provides group pasture boarding, box-and-paddock boarding and convalescent care, with access to the facilities. Haras d’Youville aims to support horses from conception through their early development, rest or work, adapting its services to the needs of both breeders and riders. Established in 2019, the centre is directed by professionals with experience in equestrian sport, breeding and insemination.
